2008 Rebel Rosé

Hues of copper sunset adorn Dover Canyon’s introductory Rosé. A delicate, creamy mouth feel embrace the essence of pear, melon and honeysuckle with a slight pastry finish. Only 2 barrels produced.

Suggested food pairings- avocado salad with crab or prawns and asparagus, baked goat cheese, grilled scallops and abalone.

2008 Cujo Zinfandel

 

Winemaker Dan Panico has been making ‘Cujo’ Zinfandel for the past twelve years. The 2008 vintage carries on the classic brawny, jammy style.  A blend of 6 different Westside vineyards, the ‘Cujo’ is a true Paso Robles Zinfandel. Delightful aromas of black cherry and nutmeg lead into flavors of rich blackberry and plum.

The story of the bone refers to the fossil rich calcareous soils of Paso Robles. A unique balance of fruit and spice give the ‘Bone Lore’ an invitation to all meals. Blackberry, dark cherry, anise, nutmeg, and toasty oak with a mineral coating provide rich expression of Paso Robles terrior. Unfined and unfiltered. Only 6 barrels produced.   .
